Among the recipients are Deputy General Director of Channel One Natalya Nikonova, “Big Game” presenters Vyacheslav Nikonov and Dmitry Simes (US citizen).

Also awarded were VGTRK columnist Olga Skabeeva and presenter Evgeny Popov.

In addition, awards were received by the chief producer of ANO TV-Novosti (manages the RT channel) Anna Abakumova, the head of the RT investigations department Alexander Raskin, the presenter of programs of the broadcasting department on social networks Anna Knishenko, and correspondent Igor Zhdanov.

Despite the responsibility, none of the awarded journalists says how Russia can win in the Northern Military District.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin emphasized that a journalist’s duty is to present information truthfully, honestly, openly, and transparently.
