A young artist of the Moscow Zapashny Circus, Vlad Morozova, died of cardiac arrest after a performance. She lost consciousness backstage, doctors tried to resuscitate her for more than 3 hours, but to no avail. The preliminary cause of death is hypoglycemia due to severe anorexia. The girl, at 22, weighed only 40 kg and was taking medications to prevent weight gain. At the same time, she was constantly checked by the circus doctor on duty, who allows the performers into the arena.
