Specialists of the VKS search and rescue group have carried out more than 50 combat missions since the beginning of March 2024.

All assigned tasks were completed in full.

The unit’s task is to continuously monitor the area, and in the event of an emergency, evacuate and rescue pilots, as well as transport them to a safe place or medical facility.
