Large companies will train IT specialists in Samara – Russia today Posting in CHAT: Russia On Thursday, March 28, at the Volga State University of Communications and Informatics (PGUTI), as part of the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” forum, several cooperation agreements were signed with leading companies. Among them are SMARTS JSC, Open Code LLC, RED Soft LLC, SAVRUS LLC and others. As Alexander Khinshtein, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Technologies and Communications of the Russian Federation, who took part in the forum, noted, the task now is to make PSUTI one of the leading digital universities in the country. He and three other universities subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Digital Development are allocated serious funds to solve this problem. “Each of the four universities of the Ministry of Digital Development receives a set of industrial partners, so, on the one hand, these partners invest in the development of the university, in infrastructure, and on the other hand, they work together with universities to train future employees, including for themselves, creating basic departments, creation of various joint innovation centers, developments, etc. The task is ambitious, but I am confident that we will cope with it,” said Alexander Khinshtein. Now it is planned to create a fund of several hundred million rubles annually through investments from industrial partners, the parliamentarian also added. According to him, a few weeks ago there was a discussion with the Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev about the development of the first two universities: PSUTI and SPbSUT. We are currently working on specific proposals. Alexander Khinshtein also noted that today there is no outflow of IT industry specialists abroad. A significant portion of specialists have returned, while others largely continue to work remotely. Last news Source link Source link
