The painting plans to depict the Il-2 attack aircraft, the Lebedyanka steam locomotive, the St. George ribbon and the inscription “Samara remembers,” as well as the Red Army soldiers who took part in the Military Parade in Kuibyshev on November 7, 1941. In Syzran they will create a painting measuring 10×10 meters with the image of the steam locomotive-monument “Lebedyanka”, the St. George ribbon and the inscription “Syzran remembers”. The work of fire painting artists in the regional capital will begin at 14:00 on June 21 with a drawing, and the first candles will be lit at 21:30 so that with the onset of darkness in the cult place of Samara, the candle flames will revive the images symbolizing the history of the Victory. At the end of the event “Fiery Images of War”, representatives of the regional branch of the Vozvon movement “Victory Volunteers” of the Samara region together with participants of youth associations of the region as part of the All-Russian action “Victory Candle”. Memory” will lay flowers and lamps at the high relief “Happy Motherland” in memory of those who gave their lives defending their Motherland during the Great Patriotic War. The action, designed to preserve the historical memory of the Great Victory, will last until June 22. On the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, the All-Russian action “Red Carnation” will end. Victory volunteers across the country will take to the streets of cities to remind everyone of the feat of the Soviet people since the start of the Great Patriotic War. As part of the campaign, Red Carnation badges will be distributed for donations. All funds raised will go to help combat veterans. Help is provided by the Memory of Generations Charitable Foundation. In Samara, the action will take place on Glory Square. On June 22, a youth action of joint activity “Roll call of posters No. 1 – today glory will not be silent” will also take place on Glory Square. The action will show the unity of the entire country – both in the rear and on the front line.
