The dinner took place at the Cosmos Collection hotel “Emerald Forest” near Moscow. The organizers were theater and film actor Evgeny Mironov, the Life in Motion and Sistema charitable foundations, the Cosmos Hotel Group and the Medsi group of companies. “We have all gathered here to combine something pleasant – a meeting with friends – with something useful and to make this evening useful, first of all, for the sections of our Life in Motion foundation that deal with prosthetics for children. We have a specific task – to raise the necessary amount for prosthetics for several children,” said Evgeny Mironov. The evening opened with an immersive theater program based on the works of Ilf and Petrov, which was presented by director Ilya Musatov, screenwriter Sergei Kempo and artists of the Theater of Nations. Decorations, posters from the NEP era and accessories at the bar counter immersed guests in the atmosphere of Stargorod and the heroes of the novel “12 Chairs”. The culmination of the event was a charity auction, at which twelve designer chairs created by famous artists and designers in different styles and techniques were presented in lots. A gemstone and a jewelry certificate were hidden in one of the chairs. The auction was conducted by Daniil Makeranets. The most expensive lot was a Lusterdeco art object by decorative artist Nadezhda Olefir – the “Tango of Love” chair, sold for 1 million 600 thousand rubles. The chair is covered with gold leaf, individual elements are inlaid with crystals and rhinestones. The emerald of the evening’s partner, the jewelry company Flawless, hid the avant-garde “Crescendo” chair by abstract artist Alexei Vaulin. The chair of designer, fashionista and TV presenter Igor Gulyaev with a laconic and elegant design was bought for half a million by the wife of a famous restaurateur. The painting of the chair by artist Daniil Fedorov is made in the style of fine art of the 20s: a bold avant-garde composition of geometric shapes. The “Treasure” chair by artist and designer Maria Mikhlina became an example of how a classic chair, while retaining its shape, turned into a decorative item. The graphite color of the finish brought all the materials together, creating a sculptural look with a golden glow, simulating the treasure hidden within. Three-dimensional installations were embodied in four art objects: “Chair of Ellochka the Ogress” by the master of modern painting and graphics Victoria Tsarkova, “Please, citizen, clean the chair” by multimedia artist Margarita Kustikova, chair by abstract artist Sergei Kupriyanov and “Throne of Dreams” by sculptor Daria Surovtseva from the “Throne of Humanism” series, which is an updated armchair from the classical era with baroque elements, reminiscent of a triumphal chariot, a golden carriage and a brilliant one. car of the future. The “Chocolate Chair”, made from 18 kg of chocolate by artist-confectioner Margarita Gordeeva, gave its owner aesthetic and taste pleasure, in which candies with liquid caramel and a crispy layer in the form of golden bodies were hidden under the chair. Thanks to modern technologies, the auction featured “The Elusive Chair” by media artist Kristina Sidorova in an innovative generative video format and a crypto chair by artist Maxim Taran, which was assigned a unique NFC code with the ability to own its digital version. “We understand that hospitality and charity are the perfect combination of being with people and for people. We all gathered here on this New Year’s holiday to make the dreams of those children who truly believe in magic come true,” said Zalina Kozonova, director of the Cosmos Collection Hotel Emerald Forest. The charity dinner-auction, which raised 16 million rubles, was held at the hotel for the second time. Photo: “Life in Motion” (Moscow)
