A domestic pigeon in a red overall got lost in Omsk during a training flight. This was reported by Gazeta.Ru regarding the owner of the bird, Leonid. The man reported the pigeon missing on March 13th. According to him, in the past the bird always returned home because “it knows its area.” According to Leonid, five years ago he rescued a pigeon from a wind system, so it has never lived in the wild. At the same time, low temperatures do not frighten the bird, but it does not know how to get its own food. “They raised him and wanted to accustom him to the street, but due to his illness he could not eat on his own,” the owner said. The owner said the pigeon also got along and played with the family cat. “I wore overalls so that the apartment would be clean and the “birds” would not sit in a cage. He is playful and knows how to “purr” when petted,” added Leonid. Earlier it was reported that in Podolsk near Moscow, a lost Maltese named Sugar, who had been living in the forest for a whole year, was rescued.
