James Anderson, a SolFest volunteer in Vortex Springs, was charged with resisting arrest and aggravated battery on a police officer. And the situation actually gets worse: Anderson literally bit off a strong piece of the policeman’s head. The Florida man was killed by a sheriff’s deputy who was patrolling the festival grounds. There he noticed Anderson, who was out of character, disturbing other guests and being extremely aggressive. The policeman tried to subdue him (and was able to do this with the help of a stun gun), but during the fight he lost a piece of meat. The injury looks simply terrible – it’s unclear how someone could do this to their teeth in the heat of battle. As it later turned out, James Anderson was simultaneously under the influence of PCP, LSD, ketamine, mushrooms and ecstasy.
