In a few months they will begin to build a new resort on the Black Sea. I explain on my fingers Posting in CHAT: Russia To be honest, I no longer have time to follow the new projects that are being implemented in the Southern Tourism Cluster (STC). By STC I mean the territory of Kuban, the North Caucasus, the Azov region and Crimea. I have already talked about the most famous projects: New Anapa, a new city on the Arabat Spit (Crimea), a new ski resort in Lagonaki (Adygea), many different roads: the direct Dzhubga-Sochi road, the Anapa bypass, Krasnodar. bypass, Adler-bypass, Krasnodar-Crimea highway, ring road around the Sea of Azov, etc. and so on. Several pages could be filled with examples. And yet, it’s surprising that one of the projects is literally 1.5 hours away from my home, but I only found out about it yesterday. We are talking about the seaside resort "Gelendzhik Marina". The cost of the project is 100 billion rubles (about the same as the automobile part of the Crimean Bridge), and its implementation will begin in the summer in a few months. 2024 The city of Gelendzhik is easy to distinguish from any other city in Russia, even from a photograph from space - it is built around a bay with a recognizable round shape: The two capes connecting this bay are called: Dika and Thin Cape. Between the capes on almost the entire coast of the bay there is a single embankment 14 km long. By the way, this is a very beautiful embankment, you can spend a whole day, or even two, walking along it. Only, as you can see from the map, there is no embankment in the Tonkey Cape area. There's almost nothing there. Vacant lots, a former cargo port and several residential buildings. As you can see, the area is more like a small village. The runway on the right is the airport runway. A seaside resort in the style of a sea marina (that is, a parking lot for yachts and boats) will be built in this part of the bay. Here's what's planned to be built: A new marine passenger terminal. That is, it will be possible to get to the resort (and to Gelendzhik in general) by sea, using sea transport. A walking park with an area of 37 thousand m2 (the size of 5 football fields) A river embankment along the bay (that is, the total length of the embankment in Gelendzhik will exceed 14 km) A water performance theater (it is not yet entirely clear that this is the case) Children's entertainment center Hotels, shops, cafes Indeed, the pier (parking) itself has space for 300 small boats. The resort promises to be very green. More than 25% of the territory will be occupied by trees, flower beds, etc. I repeat, the project will begin to be implemented this summer, and all work is planned to be completed by 2027, that is, within three years. By tradition, we wish success to this project, as well as to those already implemented - from the Crimean Bridge and Tavrida to many Sochi objects.
