Sobyanin approved subsidies for companies operating in priority sectors Publication in CHAT: Russia Changes will be made to the procedure for providing grants for training employees in secondary or additional vocational education programs. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Sunday, July 7. Grants for vocational training of employees will be provided to high-tech and innovative enterprises that work in such industries as information technology, manufacturing, professional, scientific and technical activities. The key conditions for receiving grants are Russian citizenship, tax registration in Moscow and training in accredited educational institutions in Moscow. After training, it is necessary to work in the organization for at least one year. The subsidy covers up to 95 percent of training costs, with a maximum of 120 thousand rubles per person and 10 million per organization per year. It is expected that the changes will accelerate the development of technology companies and their personnel, according to the official website of the Moscow Mayor. On July 1, the program of preferential mortgages with state support at 8 percent ceased to operate in Russia. Some banks announced back in June that they would end the program early due to the exhaustion of grant limits. Source link Source link
