It all started when a 29-year-old driver of a GAZ minibus forgot the keys in the ignition while unloading. The attacker took advantage of this, got behind the wheel and drove the car towards Taganrog. The incident occurred not far from the city, in the village of Andreevo-Melentyevo. The driver of the stolen car asked for help: having agreed with those around him, he found the car (it was a UAZ) and followed the thief. Having driven into Taganrog along the Nikolaevskoe highway, the thief abruptly stopped the car. After that, he got out of the car and lost consciousness. Soon, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and emergency medical services arrived at the scene. The hijacker did not wait for them: he died on the spot. The hijacker was reported to be 39 years old. He was previously convicted of drug distribution, robbery and car theft, the circumstances are being clarified.
