This is stated in the list of the president’s instructions following a meeting with members of the government, published on November 1. According to the order, in Russia it is necessary to ensure the availability of medical products and consumables for continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels. Deadline: until December 1, 2023. The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has been instructed to determine the volume of demand for continuous glucose monitoring systems by December 15 and send all information to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, in turn, must ensure that in 2024 the production of monitoring systems is not lower than the volume of needs of citizens with diabetes, which will be determined by the Russian Ministry of Health. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will operate until March 1, 2024, then quarterly.
