On Thursday, May 9, the celebration of Great Victory Day in Mongolia began with the laying of wreaths and flowers at the Zaisan Memorial Complex. More than 300 residents of the capital of Mongolia and Russians took part in the action. The Mongolian Army Band performed the anthems of the Russian Federation and Mongolia. The Mongolian military, employees of the Russian embassy, residents and guests of Ulaanbaatar marched in parade formation. The “Immortal Regiment” marched through the center of Ulaanbaatar, its procession began from the House of Officers and ended with the laying of flowers at the monument to Marshal Georgy Zhukov. The ceremony was attended by public organizations, veterans of the armed forces of Mongolia and Russia, officers, representatives of the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, and residents of Ulaanbaatar.
