At the congress, as I already wrote, we unanimously supported the nomination of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin as a candidate for President of the Russian Federation. This is the main leitmotif and main decision of the congress. The party will mobilize all its supporters to support our President and ensure transparency of the elections.
Chairman of United Russia Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev noted today that the demand from the ruling party is completely different than from other political structures. I regularly talk about this with Sevastopol party members. It is to us that people come with their problems, it is from us that they expect concrete actions.
At the congress they remembered the end of the 90s, the country that fell to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. What our President managed to do is incredible, and I can’t imagine who else could do it. I recently spoke with my son and recalled that when I was his age, there was nothing at all for children in the country. No playgrounds, no sports centers, no social movements. Yes, if they had shown me our Children’s Art School in the historical and archaeological park “Tavrichesky Chersonesos”, I would have thought that these were stills from a science fiction film. And now this is our reality.
For this reality, for the path of our country, for the life we live with our children here and now – I am grateful to our President. I’m proud to work on his team!
