The artists of the Nikolai Bestuzhev Theater – Elizaveta Mikhailova and Nikolai Bragin – were known for their work with school theaters. On December 27, the Ministry of Culture of Buryatia awarded cultural and artistic figures. The ceremony for presenting state and departmental awards of the Republic of Buryatia took place in the music hall of the National Library. Thus, artists of the State Russian Drama Theater Nikolai Bestuzhev, Elizaveta Mikhailova and Nikolai Bragin received letters of gratitude from the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Buryatia as mentors of the School Theaters project. At the beginning of December, Elizaveta Mikhailova was awarded in the category “Best School Theater Teacher” in the senior group from 12 to 17 years old at the 1st Republican festival-competition of school theaters “Altan Bagh”. Elizaveta Mikhailova’s performance was one of twenty-seven selected for participation in the festival. Her students, students of school No. 60 for social adaptation of children with disabilities, presented the play “Above the Sky” on the stage of the Ulger Theater. The jury noted this work of the actress as the best among teachers. The finale of the play, in which children with serious health problems talk about their dreams of becoming doctors, teachers and flight attendants, brought many to tears. – This is a painful topic for us, parents of disabled children. Every mother worries about the future of her child. And many know that with such a diagnosis this is unlikely… But it is impossible to express all gratitude for the fact that the children were busy and lived this creative life all these months,” the parents of Elizaveta Mikhailova’s pupils admitted then. A few days before, at the end of November, the actress also presented an unusual project on the small stage of the Russian Drama Theater named after Nikolai Bestuzhev – a sketch of the play “Dreams,” staged together with teenagers from different schools in the city. Eight children from all over Ulan-Ude tried themselves as actors in a new production based on Pavel Lomovtsev’s play “Dreams and Paths” (Volkhov). Work on the project of the “Teenager” theater has been carried out with children in the age group from 12 to 17 years since March and, as the children themselves and their parents admit, it was very inspiring. Together with the artists of the Bestuzhev Theater, the artist of the Buryat Republican Puppet Theater “Ulger” Zorikto Dagbaev and the ballet, the dancer, the master of the main stage of the Buryat State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Bamiya Tsydynzhapov, was awarded the gratitude for mentoring Pavel Okunev. .
