Russia plans to increase the average old-age insurance pension for non-working citizens. According to the draft budget of the Pension Fund, from June 1, 2024, this amount will be 18,521 rubles. Tatyana Golikova emphasized that the increase in pensions will be implemented within budgetary parameters. To receive an old-age insurance pension, three prerequisites are required. The first condition is age. Women can retire at 60, and men at 65. However, this age will only be relevant from 2028, because a transition period is currently underway. For example, in 2022, women retired on average at 56.5 years, and men at 61.5. years In 2024, none of the Russians will retire due to age. The same situation is expected in 2025 and 2027. This year, pre-retirement fund workers and citizens who have delayed making this decision will be able to retire. For example, disabled people, parents or guardians of disabled children, people working in special conditions, as well as those who have worked in the Far North for 15 years and on equal terms for another 20 years can leave service early. To retire in 2024, you must have at least 14 years of work experience. Next year this requirement will increase to 15 years. The third condition is the individual pension coefficient (IPC). This year it is 25.8 points towards retirement. In 2024, this coefficient will increase to 28.2 MPC.
