Australian journalist and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was taken to the courthouse for a hearing before his release. The moment was captured in a live stream from the airport that aired on the Crannofonix YouTube channel. Several cars drove up to the court, one of which contained Assange along with the Australian Ambassador to the United States, Kevin Rudd. As Flametree TV previously reported, Rudd arrived on the island on June 24. They entered the courthouse without answering questions from those gathered, and security did not allow journalists to enter. The WikiLeaks founder’s plane landed on the Pacific island of Saipan on Wednesday, where he is expected to be released after his trial.
