Production of unmanned harvesters began in the Tambov region – Russia today

Posting in CHAT: Russia

In the Tambov region, unmanned harvesters began to be produced on the basis of the Titan company. The investment project is being implemented jointly with the Belarusian plant Gomselmash. The project will increase the annual volume of main production to 600 units of equipment and create 200 jobs. The total investment will be about 5 billion rubles. The project implementation period is 5 years. The Industrial Development Fund of the Tambov Region will provide support on preferential terms in financing a project aimed at import substitution in agricultural engineering. Combine harvesters “Titan GS-10 PRO” are focused on the needs of farms with significant volumes of grain harvesting. Using an innovative system, fuel consumption was optimized and a monitoring system was introduced, thereby improving supply chains. The produced combines will be equipped with a pre-installed parallel drive system, allowing them to move smoothly across the field, avoiding skips and overlaps. The implementation of the project will make it possible to replace imported agricultural self-propelled equipment with competitive Russian-made models. An agro-industrial cluster will also be created on the territory of this industrial site. It is also planned to establish the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as components and spare parts for agricultural machinery. https://www.tambov.gov.ru
