Yesterday I visited the most dangerous area of Buenos Aires, and perhaps the whole of Argentina. This place is called Fuerte Apache. There are military personnel at the entrance to the territory. I asked them if it was dangerous inside, they replied that it was very dangerous. The soldiers themselves don’t just come in, they simply check the cars entering. Inside – only during special operations and shootouts with bandits (this happens periodically). Well, I took a walk around the neighborhood. Outside there are rather ugly and dirty old panels connected by real bridges, unauthorized buildings and heaps of rubbish. Looks like an ordinary residential area of Tbilisi. And there are also broken cars everywhere; for every ten intact cars there are about three broken and torn ones. Local children happily run around with iron pipes and playfully hit them on previously intact glass… Argentina is a country of football. Therefore, in every disadvantaged area at least one football star should be born here. Fuerte Apache is no exception; There are several graffiti dedicated to Carlos Tevez, who was born here, started playing football here, and later played for Manchester United, Juventus and other teams. In his memoirs, the football player said that as a child he almost never left the house due to constant street shootings. Modern children from this region seem to have it a little easier, or at least less shy. © Evgeniy Zolotukhin/ezolothukhin Nobody forbids taking photographs inside, but in some places you yourself understand that this is not worth doing here. But overall there is absolutely no sense of danger here. For some reason, along with the sensations, the understanding immediately comes that local residents are currently living peacefully here, in this area there are certain local concepts that really work, in contrast to state laws in the city itself. Everything is somewhat similar to the Brazilian favelas, in which law and order reign, but outside there is complete chaos. At the same time, everything here is completely different from the famous Argentine favelas called “vizhi”. , in which there is simply anarchy and little gopniks live. The guys who live here are clearly more serious. Moreover, the police walk the streets in police uniforms, and for a small bribe they will personally escort you, and very decently, with machine guns.
