Cold water will be turned off in some houses in the Nauka and Akademgorodok microdistricts of Tomsk on Thursday, November 16, due to the connection of new water pipelines. Tomsk residents are asked to make the necessary supplies of water in advance. On November 16, Tomskvodokanal carries out scheduled work as part of the overhaul of water supply networks. Work crews will connect new water pipelines along Kuchina, Bolshakova and Brothers Tronov streets,” the company reported. According to experts, the new water pipelines will ensure a reliable and uninterrupted supply of cold water. Due to work being carried out on some streets, the cold water supply will be turned off from 09:00 to 23:00. A complete list of addresses affected by the outage can be found on the Tomskvodokanal website. Thus, in the Nauka microdistrict the following streets will be closed: Akademika Sakharov, Bolshakova, Bolshanina, Brothers Tronovykh, Veshennaya, Vorobyova, Voskresenskaya, Dobrovidova, Kashchenko, Krasnye Zori, Kuchina, Olimpiyskaya, Preobrazhenskaya, Timashel, Shachenskaya. In addition, there will be no water in some houses: 30th Anniversary of Victory, Academician Zuev, 2nd Akademichesky microdistrict, Akademichesky microdistrict, Academichesky Avenue, Vavilova, Korolev streets, Development and Creation avenues. Experts remind that during interruptions in the supply of cold water, taps must be closed to avoid flooding of residential premises.
