A honeymoon in Mauritius for newlyweds from Germany ended in litigation. A couple complained to a five-star hotel about a narrow bed. This was reported by the Hannover District Court. According to the newlyweds, the width of the bed in their room was only 140 centimeters. They considered that for a comfortable stay in a five-star hotel, each guest needs a space of more than 70 centimeters. As a result, their trip was disrupted: the tourists filed a lawsuit after returning to their homeland. Their claims were satisfied, because the hotel in Mauritius is positioned as high-quality and should have comfortable conditions, but in fact, vacationers do not receive such conditions. The court awarded the couple compensation in the amount of 734.60 euros (about 73.5 thousand rubles), the website of the Hanover District Court reports.
