In February 2024, during a speech before the Federal Assembly, the President of Russia announced the launch of a new national project “Family”. According to him, constant work is needed to improve the quality of life of families with children and support fertility. VTB, together with its partners, is launching a project to support pregnant women and children. This will provide them with the necessary assistance from highly qualified doctors even in remote regions of the country, will increase the availability of quality medicine and, as a result, will contribute to an increase in the birth rate in the country. In March 2024, the program will start in five regions of Russia: the Astrakhan and Vladimir regions, the Republics of Altai, Bashkortostan and Sakha (Yakutia). Two hospitals also participate in the pilot – in Moscow and Yaroslavl. Based on the results of the pilot, in the fall of 2024 a decision will be made to scale the project to other regions. “We are symbolically launching a new project in the Year of the Family, striving to spread innovative solutions for pregnancy management even to remote regions of Russia and provide additional care for women and newborns. To join the project, the expectant mother only needs to register for pregnancy at one of the participating clinics, and also have a VTB “Mir” card in her hands, so that after the birth of the child she will also receive government benefits on it. . The program includes online consultations with specialized doctors, remote monitoring of the condition of the expectant mother, insurance in case of pregnancy pathologies or critical illnesses of the child, an online school for mothers and other services. The partners of the project are the network of medical centers “Mother and Child”, the medical technology holding “Doctis”, “Rostelecom”, the Tsifromed group of companies, and the insurance company “Pulse”.
