Over the past week, the diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in 777 residents of the Voronezh region. Compared to the previous seven-day period, the incidence increased by 6.8%. This was reported by the press service of the Rospotrebnadzor department for the Voronezh region on Monday, March 11. The department noted that at the moment there are no plans to introduce restrictive measures in the region. However, local measures can be taken for a certain period: the incidence of Covid has been declining since mid-February. During the week from February 12 to 18, 820 cases were registered, from February 19 to 25 – 755 cases, and over the previous seven days – 727 cases. However, now the number of identified cases has increased; it was previously known that serological monitoring of the state of collective immunity will be carried out in the Voronezh region in 2024. Doctors will take blood samples from children and adults of different age groups – this will allow them to assess the level of protection against infections of both individuals and the population of the region as a whole.
