In Britain, wardens are being prosecuted en masse for having sex with prisoners in their cells.

“A case has been filed against her. The investigation is being monitored by the anti-corruption watchdog. Sexual relationships usually lead to blackmail to force staff to bring illegal items into the zone,” the publication writes.
Since 2019, 36 employees of the penitentiary system have been fired in the Kingdom due to affairs in the colonies. One of the women received a suspended sentence. In 2022, she was caught having sex with a convict. The couple engaged in carnal pleasures right in the cell of Maidstone prison. As a result, the officer became pregnant and gave birth to a child from her lover.
In Britain, women have been allowed to work in men’s colonies since 1982. Now the number of correctional system employees reaches 40%. In 2023, the number of proven sexual contacts in prisons became the largest in the history of the country.
