Every year, more than 200 cities are rated by the City IQ Index. This year, 344 applications from 56 regions of the country were submitted for the award. The national award for contribution to the development of digitalization of the urban economy “Smart City” is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. As part of the award, the results of the work of Russian regions in introducing digital technologies into urban infrastructure will be summed up and winners will be announced in 34 categories.
