And today the young fighters of the university prove through their deeds that they are worthy successors to the glorious traditions of Volzhan. Thus, according to the results of the 2023 labor semester, the Volzhansky SSO SamGUPS was recognized as the best construction team of the Central Directorate for Track Repair of JSC Russian Railways with the presentation of a banner, and its leader, university student Karim Odintsov, was recognized as the best commander. Victory in the All-Russian student project “BAM 2.0” is a special case, because in difficult construction conditions, university students showed their best fighting qualities, showed character, and most importantly, supported the implementation of a large-scale All-Russian project. . project to modernize the railway infrastructure of the BAM and the Trans-Siberian Railway.
