The woman had an argument with her roommate, who first hit her several times with cutlery and then strangled her. Later he tried to resuscitate his common-law wife, but the injuries he received led to death. The tragedy occurred on the night of May 5, 2024 in one of the houses in the village of Kalenovo. A criminal case has been opened into the murder. The previously convicted partner of the deceased woman was detained at the scene. During interrogation, he gave detailed testimony. According to researchers, a 54-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman lived together for 26 years in the village of Kalenovo. During the day, the couple drank alcohol, after which late in the evening there was a quarrel between them due to jealousy and the woman’s further intentions to continue drinking. Unable to withstand her pressure, the accused hit the victim’s body several times with a fork and then strangled her. After some time, the man tried to resuscitate his wife, but the woman died from her injuries. The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of arrest against the accused is currently being decided. In a criminal case, the necessary investigative actions are carried out in order to establish all the circumstances of the crime and collect a complete evidence base.
