In the Alekseevsky district of Tatarstan, a plant for the production of sunflower oil was built on the territory of the Samata Gatina state farm. Work at the plant is almost completely automated. The seeds are heated to extract as much oil as possible. They are then pressed out. The remaining part is used to produce cake, which will also be used as a feed additive for livestock. The plant’s capacity is up to 60 tons of oil per day and the same amount of cake, as well as 30 tons of shells, which are used to generate steam necessary for production and heating of premises. 150 tons of raw materials are processed daily. 110 million rubles were invested in production. 20 jobs were created with an average salary of 57 thousand rubles. Specialist Artem Kulkin was invited from the Volgograd region to manage the new plant. He has vast experience in this field.
