Olga Nisman, director of the Center for Vocational Education of the Samara Region, noted the important role of student media centers: “Educational organizations are increasingly trying to create their own image, to form their own positive image. The media component of anyone’s activity becomes important in the organization of education. In the information society, everything seems to be noticeable, but at the same time there is a lot of information noise. And against this background, it is necessary to ensure that the activities of a college or technical school are noticeable: for schoolchildren – potential candidates, their parents, industrial partners Students working in the media learn to take a responsible approach to completing tasks and be critical.” The intensive consisted of two blocks: theoretical and practical. She told media participants how to prepare interesting and useful content for social networks of an educational organization, shared the principles of work and basic techniques. “I wanted to give original advice from my practical experience as the head of the public relations service at Samara State Medical University. Therefore, the recommendations that I have given today are based on many years of practice. I invite participants to look at the situation creatively: we all create content for personal social networks, public communities, so why not apply this knowledge and enthusiasm to the social networks of an educational institution?” – says Nina Vanina.
