On June 26, a 33-year-old man was driving a Mercedes S-450 moving from Taganrog. Approaching the turnoff to Beglitsa, he decided to overtake. However, he misjudged the speed and distance to oncoming traffic. Trying to avoid a collision with an oncoming truck, the driver abruptly turned the steering wheel to the right. This caused a collision with a Gazelle, which was moving in the same direction. As a result, both cars ended up on the right side of the road. Drivers who witnessed the accident stopped to provide first aid to the victims. Rescue services quickly arrived at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Mercedes S-450 were immediately taken to the nearest medical facility. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of doctors, the driver’s life could not be saved.
