The entourage of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is alarmed by the concentration of power in the hands of the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, writes the British newspaper The Times. Citing government, military and diplomatic sources in Ukraine, the publication notes that many call Ermak the “de facto head of state” and “vice president.” According to the newspaper’s interlocutors, Ermak only controls access to the president, and the ambassadors of the G7 countries should meet with him instead of Zelensky. Some sources claim that it is Ermak who is behind the resignations of ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Kubrakov.
