Two passengers on a plane flying from Irkutsk to Moscow were sentenced to administrative arrest for appearing in public while drunk, the press service of the Komi courts reports. Two men, while drunk on the plane, gestured obscenely with their hands, lost the ability to navigate, could have caused harm to themselves and others, and insulted human dignity and public morality with their appearance. The actions of the offenders were stopped by police officers on board the plane at Syktyvkar airport. By decisions of the magistrate, the passengers of the plane were found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Article 20.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and were sentenced to administrative arrest. The resolutions have not entered into force.
