Turnout on the first day of voting in the Voronezh region was almost 45 percent

The first day of voting in the local government elections has ended in the Voronezh Region. The total attendance as of 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, was 44.87%. A total of 38,307 voters took part in the elections, the Voronezh Region Electoral Commission reported. At the municipal level, 24 election campaigns are being held in 12 districts in the region, following which 129 mandates will be distributed. Within the framework of 19 election campaigns in the Voronezh Region, elections of deputies of representative bodies of municipalities are being held. In 5 cases, heads of rural settlements are being elected. Detailed information about which election campaigns are taking place in each district is provided at the link. Voting will continue on Sunday, September 8. The sites are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Information about the voting process can be found on the IKVO website.
