Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has carried out a number of attacks on the locations of foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the special operations zone, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported. “Operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groupings of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched strikes at deployment points <...> foreign mercenaries,” says a message on the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense. In addition, Russian troops carried out strikes against operators of attack unmanned aerial vehicles, the report states. In just one day, the Russian military hit enemy concentrations of manpower and military equipment in 131 districts, the ministry reported. The Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that Ukrainian air defense systems have shot down 66 UAVs and 13 American-made HIMARS MLRS missiles over the past 24 hours; according to the military department, the artillery of the Tank Army of the Western Group of the Russian Armed Forces removed Ukrainian mortarmen from the forest who were firing at the positions of Russian troops.
