The All-Russian children’s center “Orlyonok” received the “Pokrov” drone suppression system to protect children from drones. RIA Novosti reports this. The initiator of the project and creator of the system is Vadim Tsyganov. On the eve of Children’s Day, which is celebrated on June 1, Agleto received an electronic warfare (EW) complex from the Tsyganov family, representatives of the Kuban special training center and fighters of the Bars-16 special squad. . . The Pokrov system blocks the control and video transmission channels of drones due to a powerful electromagnetic pulse generated at drone frequencies. It is designed for outdoor use thanks to its IP67 sealed housing. Tsyganov emphasized that the system already exists in Orlyonok. If necessary, specialists will test the equipment and provide the missing elements. The main goal is to ensure the safety of children, especially during public events such as concerts, sports festivals and holidays. One set of the system has been delivered to Orlyonok, and two more are expected to arrive. The arrangement of the system and training of the officers of the Russian Guard responsible for guarding the center will be carried out by soldiers of the special detachment “Bars-16”, who have already used this system on the front line. Earlier it became known that the modernized complex with the unmanned aerial vehicle “Granat-4” was put into mass production.
