The leader of the Taganskaya organized crime group, Grigory Rabinovich, died in pretrial detention before the trial. This was reported by the SHOT Telegram channel. According to the channel, the preliminary cause of death of Rabinovich, known as Grisha Tagansky, was acute cardiovascular failure. On the night of June 26, he suddenly became ill in the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center in Moscow, where he died. He was 67 years old. Grigory Rabinovich was one of the leaders of the Taganskaya organized crime group. He, along with other members of the group, was accused of complicity in the murder of crime boss Ded Khasan, the kidnapping, robbery and murder of businessman Alexei Pokrovsky and a number of other crimes.
