On November 17, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on additional funding for six regions of the Russian Federation. Funds will be allocated through the redistribution of federal budget funds. The amount of additional financing is more than 317 million rubles. They will be sent to six regions: Ingushetia, Crimea, the Chechen Republic, Perm Territory, Kirov Region and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug – for the costs of social contracts. A social contract is an agreement concluded between social protection authorities and a family or person in need of assistance. Under the contract, a person receives money, goods or services from the state, and in return must, for example, undergo training, find a job or open his own business, buy school supplies for children, or improve his qualifications. Federal co-financing of the social contract began in 2020. From 2021, it is provided to all regions of the country.
