The Taganrog City Court made a decision in the case of the general director of the Zvezda-Strela company, Vladimir Maslensky. He was sentenced to 4 years in prison in a general regime colony and a fine of 800 thousand rubles. In addition, Maslensky recovered material damages in favor of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the amount of 404.8 million rubles, reports the joint press service of the courts of the Rostov region. During the investigation, it was established that since 2016, Maslensky began to artificially inflate the cost of products supplied under state defense orders. By January 31, 2023, the total amount of thefts amounted to more than 420 million rubles. At the courthouse, Maslensky admitted his guilt in committing the crime.
