The first season of the Summer in the Library project has ended at the National Library of Buryatia.

Throughout the summer, the National Library, together with its partners, held master classes, lectures, concerts, etc. So, in the morning, open-air yoga practices were held on the roof of the library – in the fresh air and with an impressive view of the city. The classes were conducted by a teacher, a doctor of physiotherapy and rehabilitation medicine, a massage therapist Maksar Sokolov. On the summer terrace, guests could take part in master classes in Buryat-Mongolian calligraphy. A teacher of Mongolian writing, calligrapher Aryuna Bulgutova and an artist of traditional Buryat painting “Buryad Zurag”, calligrapher Tuyana Tykheeva shared facts from the history of Mongolian writing, introduced the alphabet “Sagaan Tolgoi” and taught how to write their names in ancient writing. . The participants also learned the basics of Mongolian calligraphy and received commemorative inscriptions as a gift. In July, linguist and St. Petersburg State University Master’s student Altana Bazarzhapova spoke about preserving the native language and translating the popular Telegram messenger into the Buryat language. Music and poetry were also frequent companions of “Summer in the Library”. In July, a musical and poetic evening “Music of Summer Words” was held. The event presented original works by original newcomers to our city: Irina Suvonova, Anastasia Potapova, Nikita Librovsky and others. And in August, a creative evening “ArtElement” was held, where three elements were intertwined: fine art, music and poetry. That evening, guests saw paintings by Yulia Sharkova, Anastasia Lanina, Daria Anufrieva and other artists. Alena Gromova, Elizaveta Kargapoltseva and other poets and musicians presented their works. “Summer in the Library” ended with a party under the rays of sunset on the roof of the library. Guests were treated to a light DJ set from DJ South Wind, favorite coffee from Atlas Coffee and master classes in calligraphy from the Teatham-Art studio, ginger painting with the creators of Wanna Chocolate and making flower cards with decorator Victoria Banzaraktsayeva. At the fair, one could find books and cards from the Svoya Komnata bookstore, beaded jewelry from the Prosto studio of Anastasia Pykina, chocolate and sweets from Wanna Chocolate, jewelry with precious stones from the Turmalinika brand, as well as handmade soap from Svetlana Piskunova. The evening was decorated with a mini-exhibition of sketches by the designer Ayur.Prod.
