The mentors’ competition “To be, not to seem!” is being implemented by the “First Movement” together with the “Rospatriot” program of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the “Voin” center, the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Association of Volunteer Centers. The goal of the competition is to create a community of mentors in military-patriotic education and to form a personnel reserve of mentors. More than 50,000 representatives of the patriotic education system will take part: teachers, education specialists, educational consultants in educational organizations, soldiers, police specialists, participants in patriotic projects, students of professional educational organizations and educational organizations of higher educational institutions. education, cadets and cadets and Cossack classes. Members and leaders of patriotic organizations across the country, graduates of patriotic clubs, associations, specialized educational organizations, teachers and students of specialized specialties aged 16 and older can participate in the competition. As a result, the participants will have to develop and present their own project in the field of patriotic education. The final of the competition will be held in September in person. At the final stage, the participants will take part in a military-sports game with team challenges, an educational block with expert consultations, and a round-robin interview. The winners will receive valuable prizes, as well as the opportunity to undergo an internship at leading military-sports training centers, participate in other projects of the First Movement, and join the personnel reserve of the First Movement and the Voin Center. “Youth is not only our future, but also our present. A special non-competitive nomination is the nomination “Honored Mentor” for teachers, educators, methodologists who have experience in successfully ensuring the participation of teachers and specialists in professional excellence competitions, with at least 25 years of experience in the field of patriotic education. children and youth, or who have outstanding achievements in mentoring.
