Rescuers found the body of a third man. The surviving victims with hypothermia and frostbite on their legs were transferred to doctors. The Tomsk Regional Search and Rescue Service reported that on the morning of November 17, a message was received at the control panel about the need to help men who had capsized on a boat. “From the information provided to the duty officer, it turned out that one victim was able to swim to the shore of Ishtan Island and seek help from a local resident who was in his cabin. The whereabouts of the remaining men are unknown,” he said. PSS. Rescuers went to the area of the village of Orlovka to search for and transport the victims. After arriving in the search area, rescuers went by airboat to Ishtan Island. “On the way, the body of an adult man was discovered. and handed over to the police. When search and rescue personnel reached the man on the island, the third victim was able to reach the hut, the service said. The men, according to the PSS, suffered from hypothermia and frostbite on their legs.
