On November 29, an exhibition of works by students of the Children’s Art School named after Roman Sidorovich Merdygeev opened, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Nikolai Bestuzhev Theater. The theater and art school have been collaborating for several years. This fall, on the initiative of the head of the theater museum, Larisa Zolotukhina, a new joint creative project was organized, to which the school administration immediately responded. Starting in September, young artists painted plein air on the theater square, and with the onset of cold weather they continued to create within the walls of the theater. The acting director of the theater Lyubov Munkueva and the artistic director of the theater Vyacheslav Dyachenko spoke at the opening of the exhibition. “Today, an amazing story is happening before our eyes. Perhaps some of these young artists will someday connect their lives with the theater. After all, artists are always needed here – directors, costume designers, decorators, props masters, as well as lighting designers,” said Vyacheslav Dyachenko, thanking all participants. The theater management presented each young participating artist with diplomas, and all teachers with a certificate of gratitude. The children themselves said that they got a lot of pleasure from it. The lesson was given for two hours, and the rest was done at school. – From the drawings you can see the character of the children; all jobs are very different. But every job has a lot of work. I know this from my child,” said the mother of seven-year-old exhibitor Narana Kidaeva. One of the drawings shows a scene from the play “Dead or Alive”. “The Appearance of Shishiga” is the title of the work by one of the youngest participants in the exhibition, Alisa Shuvalova. “I kept a photograph of this drawing as a keepsake. I love! – shared actor Gennady Popov, who plays Shishiga. The exhibition will last from November 29 to December 10 (0+), and all spectators who come to the performance will be able to see the works of young artists.
