the court heard the testimony of ex-military commissar Danshin in the case of “purchase of military personnel” • Russia today Posting in CHAT: Russia On Thursday, December 14, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Samara continued to consider the criminal case of the former deputy regional military commissioner for economic issues, Ilham Khusainov. On this day some evidence was heard. According to investigators, in October 2022, a resident of Samara undertook to hand over a bribe in the amount of 700 thousand rubles under the control of police officers. Ilham Khusainov. According to investigators, the young man gave money for “exemption” from mobilization for a year for himself and a military ID for his friend. Having been caught red-handed, Ilham Khusainov agreed to transfer the money along the chain to where the issue of conscription for military service was being decided. As a result, Irina Semenycheva was detained, who stated that the transferred amount was money that she had borrowed from Khusainov. Then, however, she admitted to two episodes, but stated that there was no mediation on her part in the transfer of the bribe, but there was deception. The defendants met Khusainov through the former regional military commissar, Major General Alexander Danshin, who left his post several years ago, retiring, and later died. A group with the self-explanatory name “Hares” was discovered on Semenycheva’s phone in a WhatsApp message in which Khusainov sent her the personal information of men. The testimonies of Khusainov and Semenycheva included the names of the head of the conscription department of the regional military registration and enlistment office, Dmitry Shevchuk, and the head of the military medical examination center of the regional military registration and enlistment office, Vyacheslav Vasilyev. The latter, according to Volga News sources, was also investigated. However, the police were unable to prove that the woman was part of a group of people who “exonerated” citizens from conscription and mobilization, and the case was brought to court on charges of fraud. Irina Semenycheva received two and a half years in prison. On December 14, Oksana Konycheva, a witness in the case, spoke in court. She said she has a son. “I was introduced to Khusainov, who promised to give his son a military ID. I only had one request. My son has many diseases. But the commission wrote that he was healthy. My son’s blood pressure was 180 and he had constant headaches. . But there was zero attention from the commission. And I started looking for contacts in order to draw a normal conclusion. So I was introduced to Vladimir, and he already gave Khusainov’s phone number. We met in August 2022 near Gagarin. We park in the parking lot. Khusainov came in his car, Vladimir and I came on foot. We discussed my situation, I brought medical reports with me. Khusainov announced the amount that I need to transfer. He said that someone gives 150 kopecks, and takes another 10 for his work,” she told a court witness in the case. The woman says she returned the money a little later. “He promised my child a military ID. There should have been information that the child was incompetent. Khusainov told me that he worked at the address Eroshevsky, 3. He did not say who to transfer the main amount to. my child is registered in the Industrial District, and Khusainov said that he works with the Industrial District. Then he also said: I need to meet with your son, I need to tell him how to behave at the military registration and enlistment office. my son and I came to him. The conversation was “about nothing.” I was still thinking, “Why did you come?” He just said that everything would be fine,” Oksana claims in court. The woman reports that a little later she heard from a colleague that Khusainov had been arrested. “The money was not returned to me. Then I came to the Investigative Committee and wrote a confession. As a result, my son was recognized as partially competent. The commission was incomplete; there was no surgeon. I want to ask for my money back,” the woman also told the court. Oksana says that she had to borrow part of the money, 50 thousand. On December 14, another witness, a colleague of Konycheva’s, spoke in court and confirmed that she lent this exact amount to Oksana. Although the court was unable to question all witnesses, some were ordered to undergo mandatory attendance. And since one of the witnesses, Alexander Danshin, died, it was decided to read his words to the investigator from the case materials. “I have an acquaintance, Khusainov, whom I have known since 2009. He was the head of the military-economic department of the military commissariat of the Samara region. Later we began to maintain friendly relations with him. He was practically a member of my family, he was invited to holidays, and he was a friend of my children.” – Danshin said during the investigation. According to him, he himself knew Semenycheva since about 2009. “We met her at the meeting place when she was sending her son to serve. Later we began to maintain friendly relations with her. I introduced Semenycheva to many officials of the military commissariat of the Samara region, since I took her with me on several business trips. At the end of 2019 - beginning of 2020, I introduced Semenycheva to Dmitry Shevchuk, who held the position of head of the conscription department, and Vyacheslav Vasilyev, who served as chairman of the medical commission of the military registration and enlistment office Samara. Semenychev’s region, in my presence, communicated with these people only on personal issues not related to military service,” Danshin explained. When asked by the investigator that the servicemen contacted Semenycheva and others about receiving military ID cards, he explained that he did not know this. Later, Semenycheva told Danshin that she was allegedly detained while transferring money to the Khusainovs for the construction of a house. The consideration of the criminal case will continue in the near future. If found guilty, Khusainov also faces actual imprisonment. Source link Source link
