Publication in CHAT: RussiaIn an old abandoned building, he found Ukrainian nationalists who had set up firing positions on the upper floors. Having wisely distributed his forces, Nikolai Paskar began storming the building. Despite the stubborn resistance of the Ukrainian militants, under heavy fire, Lieutenant Colonel Paskar managed to suppress the firing points and drive the enemy from their positions. During the battle, seven nationalists were destroyed, the rest, having abandoned their positions, retreated. During the inspection of the building, a cache of ammunition for various weapons, including anti-tank missile systems "Javelin", was discovered in the basement. Demonstrating courage and bravery, Lieutenant Colonel Paskar continued to pursue the retreating enemy, who was firing back. During the advance, Nikolai Paskar came under mortar fire, as a result of which he received a moderate shrapnel wound. Despite this, he continued to lead the unit until the armed formation of nationalists was completely defeated.
