There are medicines, but no pharmacists. – Russia today Publication in CHAT: Russia The alarm has been sounded in the Rostov Region: every third pharmacist may end up without special education. This shocking statistic was revealed at a roundtable meeting in the Don Parliament, where new approaches to organizing pharmacy activities were discussed. “Pharmacies are on every corner, but who works in them?” asks Elena Eliseeva, Chairperson of the Committee on Social Policy. And indeed, who takes on the responsibility of consulting us about medications? It turns out that these are often people with secondary medical education, and not certified pharmacists. Boris Gurkin, Chief Physician of the Novocherkassk Emergency Hospital, a member of the Legislative Assembly, is sounding the alarm: there is a mass outflow of nurses to the pharmaceutical sector. But a solution to the problem is already on the horizon - the creation of an information system that will allow a detailed analysis of the employees of Don pharmacies by the end of the year. But that's not all! The deputies intend to return the clause on the presence of the position of head of the pharmacy to the licensing requirements. They will bring this initiative to the platform of the South-Russian Parliamentary Association. But what should residents of remote villages do, where there are simply no pharmacies? Here, mobile pharmacies can come to the rescue. The idea has already found support in the State Duma, and the possibility of adopting a separate law regulating their activities is currently being discussed. So, dear readers, be careful when buying medicine Renat Agabekyan Previously reported: Shocking incident: motorcyclist raised his hand to a child with special needs 2692 News in Bloknot-Taganrog! Today I took part in the Round Table “On Providing Residents of Remote Territories of the LPR with Medicines”. – Russia today Publication in CHAT: RussiaWe discussed the problems of providing medicines to residents of remote areas and prospects for their solution. Representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, local government bodies, and pharmacy chains took part in the event. The topic of providing residents of remote areas with medicines is especially important for me, since together with my colleagues we have visited almost all municipalities and in each of them we have heard about the problem of the lack of pharmacies in remote areas. This issue is especially acute for socially vulnerable groups of the population, such as people with disabilities, veterans and pensioners. A unanimous understanding was reached at the round table, which will serve as a catalyst for a speedy resolution of the current problem. I am convinced that organizing the sale of medicines through FAPs is an important step towards providing the population with medicines in their native village, without the need to go to the administrative center. This system is already actively operating in some municipal districts, with Krasnodon and Slavyanoserbsk municipal districts being striking examples. However, there are still a number of problems that need to be solved. We must work to ensure that every person can freely purchase the medicines they need.
