Voronezh has once again begun the search for a contractor to implement the Petrovsky Island park project. Posting in CHAT: Russia The search for an entrepreneur began in Voronezh to develop a project for the historical and cultural amusement park “Petrovsky Island”. Work to create the project is planned in two stages. The contractor will have to send the first part of the design documentation by August, and the second by the end of 2024. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Construction on Monday, March 25. The first stage of construction includes the construction of a bridge, installation of utility networks, entrances and playgrounds, as well as landscaping of the territory. The second stage includes the reconstruction of the Zeichhaus Museum building with a museum square and a pier for mooring the Goto Predestination ship, the creation of gardens in a regular style, the construction of a pier for small ships and landscaping of the territory. Based on the results of the design and explanation of the cost of the work, the issue of attracting financing will be resolved within the framework of one or more national projects. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2026. The first application for the right to create a theme park project on Petrovsky Island was announced in March 2023. However, the auction was cancelled. The second auction started in October 2023 and was also postponed. Earlier, RIA Voronezh reported that improvement work had resumed on the Petrovskaya River. The entire range of improvement works for the first stage is planned to be completed by June 2024. As part of the second stage of improvement of Petrovskaya Embankment, the movement of soil and the import of small architectural forms continue.
