As a result, the offender was stopped. Inspectors noticed signs of alcohol intoxication in the driver; he doesn't have a driver's license. The court detained the man for ten days. The traffic police of the Tomsk region reported that at night traffic police inspectors received information that a VAZ-21074 car was driving in the village of Timiryazevskoye, the driver of which may have been drunk. “Police officers tried to stop the car using a loudspeaker to check the condition of the driver and his documents. The driver ignored the lawful demands of the employees to stop - he increased his speed and tried to hide in the forest near the village. During the pursuit, the driver refused to comply with repeated lawful requests from police officers to stop the vehicle. Information about the vehicle was passed on to nearby police officers who joined in the pursuit. In the area of Kaidalovka, the violator was blocked by patrol cars,” the State Traffic Inspectorate reported. The driver was a 35-year-old man. The inspectors noticed obvious signs of intoxication in the driver and asked him to undergo a medical examination, but the man refused. After checking the documents, employees determined that the driver had never received a driver's license. Administrative materials have been drawn up against the driver as provided for in Part 2 of Article 12.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure by the driver of a vehicle who does not have the right to drive vehicles or has been deprived of the right to drive vehicles to comply with the legal requirement of an authorized official to undergo a medical examination for intoxication) and Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses (violation of law and order or demand of a police officer).
