Sberbank specialists will evaluate the projects of TSU students • Russia today Posting in CHAT: Russia The cooperation agreement between Tolyatti State University (TSU) and Sberbank has been updated. The agreement was signed on December 18 by the regional director of the Samara branch No. 6991 of Sberbank PJSC Dmitry Polulekh and the rector of TSU Mikhail Krishtal. The document includes additional provisions on the joint implementation by the parties of acceleration and other educational programs aimed at developing youth technological entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial initiatives. TSU and Sberbank have a long-standing partnership. In 2018, one of the first loan agreements in Russia was signed between a federal budgetary educational institution and Sberbank. This, according to Mikhail Krishtal, allows TSU to painlessly survive certain moments associated with the cyclical receipt of funds from students, and most importantly, at the right time, free up funds for the development of the university and spend them effectively. In 2020, the bank signed an agreement with the university on the prompt provision of bank guarantees, which allowed TSU to participate in competitions and enter into agreements with counterparties to conduct research, provide educational services and perform other work. In addition, Sberbank helped TSU implement a campus project that increased the security of the university. As part of the updated agreement, Sberbank PJSC is no longer only a financial partner of TSU. Representatives of the credit institution will become experts in assessing project initiatives implemented by TSU students and will provide mentoring support to student project teams. The agreement also includes clauses on joint work between the university and the credit institution to implement programs that will contribute to the development of youth technological entrepreneurship at TSU. “The new agreement will allow us to expand opportunities for students in project activities. Now 100% of TSU students are included in it, and we are trying to ensure that students receive work cases from high-tech partners. Including Sberbank, which today has ceased to be just a bank, it is a whole ecosystem. We hope that students, both as part of the educational process and as part of acceleration programs, will be able to implement live cases and receive good methodological support from Sberbank specialists,” said TSU Rector Mikhail Krishtal. Regional director of Samara branch No. 1. No. 6991 Sberbank PJSC Dmitry Polulekh is optimistic about expanding cooperation with TSU in terms of interaction with students. “Sberbank managers will be even more actively involved in the university’s project activities and conduct an examination of student projects. This is important for us, because one of the key aspects for Sberbank is working with young people,” noted Dmitry Polulekh. “We have something to share with students. I think students will be able to propose creative ideas and projects that will be interesting for Sberbank.” Sberbank PJSC is interested in training employees in the competencies and skills necessary for the digital economy. Therefore, banking sector practitioners always enthusiastically support educational projects. In 2017, in honor of Russian Student Day, the university received from Sberbank 71 volumes of business literature and ten certificates for access to the electronic version of this collection. In 2020-2021, for students studying at the faculties of Economics and Law, bank specialists conducted a course of lectures on organizing work with problem assets and overdue debt. Every year, students of the Institute of Finance, Economics and Management of TSU have the opportunity to undergo an internship at Sberbank branches of the Samara region with subsequent employment. This academic year, Sberbank announced admission of TSU students to the SBERA Banking School. This is an educational intensive where you can communicate directly with top managers of Sberbank, get an idea of work in the banking industry and gain specialized knowledge. The training will last from December 2023 to April 2024. Students will receive certificates of completion of a banking school, and the best will receive an invitation to become an employee of Sberbank. Source link Source link
