Earlier, Finnish President Alexander Stubb arrived in Kyiv, met with Vladimir Zelensky and signed an agreement on security cooperation and long-term support between the two countries. According to Zelensky, Finland will provide long-term military and financial assistance and is deepening cooperation with Ukraine in the political, financial, humanitarian and reform spheres. After the visit, Stubb said that Finland would send Ukraine another package of military aid worth about 188 million euros, which would include air defense systems and ammunition. Since the beginning of the military conflict in February 2022 and taking into account the new package, Finland has provided two billion euros in aid to Ukraine.
