An embankment will be built at the spit of the Volga and Samara rivers – Russia today Posting in CHAT: Russia The authorities want to improve the coast of the Volga and Samara rivers. Information about this is contained in the adjusted draft planning for this territory. Strelka is located in the center of Samara and is essentially now an industrial zone, especially due to its cargo river port. The regional government has been discussing the issue of moving the facility to another location for several years. When this happens, the area will undergo reconstruction, which will attract investors. This spring, the authorities approved a project for the development of the spit area. It showed plans for the construction of public and residential buildings (including those in the form of nesting dolls), as well as an embankment. It is planned to be built along the entire coast of the Strelka - both the Volga and the Samara River. Judging by the sketch, the embankment will be multi-level, with such interesting platforms. City Hall contractors are currently finalizing the project. Another proposal - to improve the bank of the Samara River in the village of Sukhaya Samarka, Kuybyshevsky district - was recently considered by the Ministry of Construction. However, there are doubts that money will be found for this project. Source link Source link
